CASE STUDY 1

Re-designing products and processes

The customer operates in a very labour intensive industry. One of the key considerations at the beginning of the contract was that jigs were required for the assembly of the product which created a number of limitations and cost issues to our customer.

WEC Laser worked very closely with the customer to re-design the products and processes to make stronger fabrications whilst eliminating jigging.

From the result of our work and team approach, our customer achieved significantly higher quality and accuracy within their process and final product whilst reducing manpower.

High Class Finishing

A well established manufacturer of catering equipment, our client required excessive finishing operations to ensure that there was no marking on their polished stainless steel components. WEC Laser cut and folded items with a poly coating which completely eliminated the marking on the components and also reduced finishing operations and cost dramatically.
