WEC Laser, also known as Laser Engineering UK, is the laser cutting division of WEC Group, based in Darwen, Lancashire. Established in 1998, following the purchase of the group’s first laser cutting machine, WEC Laser has grown from strength to strength and has now turned into one of the UK’s largest sub-contract laser cutting companies.
Continuous investment in the latest laser cutting technology has fuelled our laser division’s rapid growth. We recently acquired a state-of-the-art Trumpf 24kw Fiber laser, the first in the North West of England, with a 4m x 2m cutting capacity. Our extensive equipment includes 21 flatbed lasers, 4 tube lasers, 24 press brakes, in-house fabrication, CNC machining, powder coating, and a fleet of 18-ton curtain sider lorries, allowing us to offer short lead times and Nationwide delivery for all your manufacturing needs.
