Major investment in new shotblasting room

We are delighted to announce a £100,000 investment in our shotblasting services, marked by the installation of a new dedicated shotblasting room at our facility. This latest development reflects our ongoing commitment to quality and efficiency within our operations.

The newly installed shotblasting room is designed to accommodate components up to 2m x 1m, enabling the efficient processing of a wide range of parts. A key feature of the system is its self-sweeping floor which improves productivity and maintains a clean and controlled working environment.

With this investment, we have significantly increased our shotblasting capacity, allowing for faster turnaround times and improved lead times for our customers. The dedicated facility is operated by trained specialists, ensuring that each component is handled with care. By investing in both advanced equipment and skilled teams, we continue to enhance our ability to meet growing demand while maintaining the highest standards.

Shotblasting is a surface preparation process that involves propelling abrasive materials at high speed onto a component’s surface. This technique is widely used to remove rust, scale, old coatings and other contaminants, leaving a clean and uniform finish. It also creates an ideal surface profile for treatments such as painting, coating or galvanising.

Shotblasting enhances the longevity of components by preparing surfaces for protective coatings, reduces the risk of corrosion and improves the overall appearance of finished products. Additionally, it is a highly efficient and environmentally friendly process, particularly when combined with modern systems such as our self-sweeping technology.

This latest investment underlines our focus on continuous improvement and our dedication to delivering reliable, high-quality solutions to our customers.
