We are thrilled to announce that we have invested in a brand new Adige LT8.20 Fibre Tube Laser.
The new Tube Laser will replace our old LT8 CO2 machine, which will significantly enhance the capacity of our tube cutting cell and help us maintain our competitive edge while further reducing lead times for our customers.
The new machine is capable of cutting round, square, rectangle, special sections and open profiles of up to 240mm diameter and 12mm thickness in mild steel and galvanised steel, 8mm thickness in stainless steel, aluminium and brass, and 5mm thickness in copper. The maximum component length capability is 6.5 metre with a maximum weight per tube of 40kg/metre.
In addition to our 23 flatbed lasers, this is our third investment in LT8 Fibre Tube Lasers over the past three years, solidifying our position as one of the largest laser cutting operations in the UK.
